The compact valve adapter provides and unreduced pressure at a high flow rate, when attached to cylinders fitted to self closing valves. The adapters are fitted with non return valves to ensure that they shut off when the cylinders are disconnected, in order to prevent the flow of any gas into empty cylinders. The multi-point locking mechanism, safety interlock and face seal provides a secure and safe gas connection. The adapter is manufactured in a combination of die-casting, plastic molding, and precision machining.
